Statement of Education |
It is hard to conceive that one succinct paragraph could both critique the prevailing view of education and yet articulate the core ideas of true education. However, the statement below, the first paragraph of the book Education by Ellen G. White (1903), integrates these guiding principles of true education into a single inspiring statement.
May the vision for education set forth in this paragraph be a goal for all education—for schools, for homes, for lives—and may that vision demonstrate that God is love. |
